💳Chase Sapphire Reserve Annual Fee to Go Up to $795

Even though the card is getting a revamp, that annual fee sounds insane! Let’s see what the new card is rumored to offer. This info is not official yet - everyone is picking up rumors from social media posts.

There are a ton of statement credits being added to the card like -

• $300 Chase Dining credit,

• $250 semi-annual hotel credit via Chase hotels,

• $250 Apple TV+ credit,

• $300 DoorDash credit + $120 DD membership credit,

• Lyft and Peloton credit.

The spend multipliers are also going to change a bit -

• 10x on Chase travel hotel bookings, 8x on cars, 8x on flights

• For direct bookings with airlines, you get 4x

• “Other travel” being reduced to 1x.

In my view, all of these new credits sound un-usable overall (at least for me). I’ll have to go out of my way to use credits like Peloton or Chase dining or Chase hotels. At least the beloved $300 travel credit that applied across the board still remains the same, but still.
